Recycle Paper Production (RPP) in Mahagoda Vidyalaya, Galle Sri Lanka

Parisara Niyamu Studets participated the Tree Planting campaign & Recycle Paper Production

A recycle paper production workshop was held in Mahagoda Vidyalaya of Galle District with the participation of Parisara Niyamu School Students.

These students were trained for RPP during the first quarter of the year but reported to have gaps in their knowledge about the process. Added to this, the school did not have financial strength to get the decals (frame with a wire mesh i.e. sieve) and a bath to continue the paper productions. In realizing the vitality of the smooth operation of the project, Janathakshan donated a complete set where of instruments required by the school. This was donated during a tree planting campaign held on the same day. School students were simply happy about the donation and they started producing recycle papers on the same day. However, the school is still does not own a paper press to do the final finishing of the production. The paper press is expensive and school expects a kind donation of such instrument to help their efforts of recycle paper productions and to help trees to prolong their stay on earth fixing atmospheric carbon dioxide of anthropogenic origin in lowering green house effect and global warming.
