Traditional Paddy Cultivation; A Farmer in Kamburupitya of Sri Lanka Making a Forward Purchase Agreement with REN

Upon a technical enquiry obtained by Janathakshan during the year 2010, team was able to advice farmer Melvin de Silva in Kamburupitiya to try out traditional paddy cultivations for more profitable and healthy harvest that has a growing demand in the current market.

Doing Real Recycle Paper Production by Students in Galle District, Sri Lanka

The ongoing effort of introducing the technologies of Recycle Paper Production (RPP) among school children seems to be getting successful in Galle District of Sri Lanka. Janathakshan team recently visited 5 schools in the area and observed some of the schools to be doing great with practical RPP and using such for producing stationary such as file covers, invitation and greeting cards that schools require.
